"Mark Twain Returns" is a wonderful book on several levels. It is an adventure much like those written by Mark Twain. It is a visit to many of the places Twain visited. It is a history book in that so much of Twain's life, personality, and surroundings were obviously researched, even visited by the author, Mr. Trimmer. The whole story, the improbable tale of Twain's visit to earth years after his demise to see what changes have come about, rings true. When you start to read it, plan enough time to read the whole book because you won't want to stop.
